Sarah Yadegari | Project Manager
Sarah was responsible for organizing weekly meetings, creating meeting agendas, and leading meetings in a productive and effective manner. She was integral to the analysis and she helped to build and refine project content as the lead editor. She kept the team moving towards its goals through effective communication and coaching. Expected Winter 2021, Sarah will graduate UCLA with a B.S. in Anthropology alongside a minor in Digital Humanities.
Liz Ketcham | Data Specialist, Writer
Liz dove into the network analysis portion of the project, completing the larger-scale visualization and other supporting visualizations as appropriate. She also helped organize the team’s findings to take an overall look at the structure of the Twitter conversation surrounding the Capitol Riots. Liz will graduate in Spring 2021 with a B.A. in Communication and a minor in Digital Humanities.
Jack Schaefer | Data Specialist, Writer
Jack guided the data cleaning and analysis efforts. He also used various open-source tools and software to analyze partisan influences in the corpus and generate appropriate visualization. Jack will Graduate in Winter 2021 with a B.S. in Cognitive Science and a minor in Digital Humanities. He will then continue his work as an RA for the Computational Media Lab and for the Genocide, Testimony, and the Digital Archive Project at UCLA.
Christian Shelley | Editor, Writer
Christian worked on writing, research, and editing. Helping with background research and writing sections he was focused on providing relevant secondary information to aid the central argument. Christian will graduate in Spring 2021 with a B.A in Anthropology with a double minor in Entrepreneurship and Digital Humanities.
Audrey Freeman | Editor, Web Designer
Audrey worked on writing and putting the website together. Her main focus on the team was pulling off the design aspect and aesthetic of the website to reflect the team’s effort. Audrey will graduate in Spring 2022 with a B.A in Sociology with a minor in Digital Humanities.
